How to Backup your Mailbox in Outlook 2011 (Mac)




1.   Open Outlook
2.   Click File, Select "Export..."
          Outlook2011_Backup_1

3.   Select “Outlook for Mac Data File (.olm)”
4.   Select “Items of the following types:”
5.   Check all types (Mail, Contacts, Calendar, Tasks, Notes)
6.   Click the right arrow
          Outlook2011_Backup_2

7.   Select “No, do not delete items”, Click the right arrow
          Outlook2011_Backup_3

8.   Select a location to save the file, Click “Save”
          Outlook2011_Backup_4

9.   Click “Done”
          Outlook2011_Backup_5

 

Take Note of the location this file was saved, you will need this file during the import process.
